Your Role

As a logistics engineer, you will belong to a small team within the Technical Support Office section that works with logistics related to modifications of Gripen. You are part of the important chain that ensures our customers have good availability of Gripen. The area works to support our Gripen customers through technical support and supply of materials related to modifications.

Your main task as a logistics engineer will be to ensure the materials required for modifications of Gripen E/F. You will primarily work in ERP where you build structures based on assignments that generate material needs. Materials are procured from internal production or subcontractors. Managing lead times and maintaining close contact with the inbound channel and project managers in production is part of everyday life. If necessary, you will assist colleagues in Technical Support to support customers. This gives you the opportunity to further expand your network and build on your knowledge of our product.

We are looking for someone who is structured and has a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving. You have a good ability to create networks and thrive in a role where you can work independently on multiple assignments simultaneously while enjoying communicating and collaborating with others. We see that you have good analytical skills, are clear, communicative, and meticulous in your work. You are positive, solution-focused, and find opportunities, and are motivated to continue developing in your field.

To thrive in the role, we would like you to have:

• Logistics/planning education or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic knowledge of ERP/Sherpa.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
